The beginning

Ch Jarraà el Riad

He was 6 months old when we first visited his breeder Christa Kahler in Southern Germany. It was deep love from the very beginning between this fascinating dog and us. It did not take much time until he was sitting between us in our car on our way back home. There he met the rest of our gang: one Deerhound, a Komondor and two cats. That was no problem for Jarraà (we called him Talif), he immediately socialized. Our passion for the sighthounds was born after we took a second Deerhound not much later and when we started to participating in dog shows, coursings and racings. Today there are two sons, one grandson and one great-grandson of Jarraà living with us in the area of Paris.
